People keep making this mistake: insert 3d> 4! A and 3D may have slightly higher energy in K and Ca (Z = 20), but after AO 3d falls below 4s, the energy of AO becomes such that the centers of E in Zn (Z = 30) are: [Ar ] 3d 10 4s 2. The maximum oxdn state for Zn is Zn 2 + [Ar] 3d 10.

My ignition says the configuration is Ge2 + [Air] 4s2 3d10. Ok i got it

But then it says Ge4 + [Ar] 3d10. I think it's [Ar] 4s2 3d8.

Can anyone tell me why we removed all 4 languages ​​first? Is this an exception for all Group 4A items?
